With his roots in England, soccer (and West Ham United) have always been near and dear to his heart. Growing up, Roland played the game himself and spent countless weekends packed into the stands cheering on the Hammers. But as Roland has continued his passion for the sport, he started to notice a troubling pattern.

He had seen firsthand the high price it takes to participate in sports and the lack of opportunities some kids face because of it. So with this passion, he got to work and surrounded himself with a team who believed that no kid deserved to stay on the sidelines. Teams Elevated was born from that idea.

With a team full of former athletes and current parents of young athletes, Teams Elevated is a values-driven company where the mission hits home for everyone involved. We talk a lot about removing barriers, because too many young athletes face them every day. There is the high cost of registration, lack of proper equipment, and limited safe spaces to play. We're here to tear those down so every kid gets a shot. Because we know firsthand the power sports has to change a life, and we don’t want a price tag to get in the way of that.
