Tournament Setup

Create and manage tournaments with brackets, scheduling, and team seeding.

Creating a Tournament

  1. Navigate to Programs > Tournaments
  2. Click Create Tournament
  3. Fill in tournament details:
    • Name — Tournament title
    • Sport — Select the sport
    • Dates — Start and end dates
    • Location — Venue/facility
  4. Add participating teams
  5. Configure bracket format and seeding
  6. Click Create

Managing Tournaments

From the tournament detail page, you can:

  • View Brackets — See the tournament bracket and results
  • Manage Teams — Add or remove participating teams
  • Update Scores — Enter game scores and advance teams
  • View Standings — See current rankings and statistics
  • Edit Details — Modify tournament info after creation

Tournament Statuses

Status Description
Draft Tournament is being set up, not visible publicly
Active Tournament is live, games in progress
Completed All games finished, final standings set

Public Tournament Page

Each tournament has a public page that can be shared with participants and spectators. It shows brackets, schedules, and standings without requiring login.

Tips

  • Set up the tournament as a draft first, then publish when everything is confirmed
  • Share the public tournament link with parents and fans
  • Update scores promptly to keep brackets current
